MRes in Creative Practices research students aim to connect, create, contribute. We come from a range of disciplines such as painting, photography, creative writing, sculpture and art history. We reflect on our place in the world and wider concerns through academic enquiry, referencing social, historical, cultural and theoretical discourses and traditions as we do so. Our creative practice demonstrates real engagement with ideas and concepts we are immersed in throughout the year, and culminates in our multidisciplinary graduate show in September 2016.
Nicole Manley
I use a combination of techniques; photography, alternative photographic process, tapestry, sculpture and sound to explore human relationship with the surrounding environment.
My current interests are investigating the unconscious and conscious relationship of human interaction with water and forests.
